l'ile tower

Now we’re leaving the German – speaking part of Switzerland and we’re meeting in the French one, in Geneva to be more precise. During this trip, I got to visit some of the most exciting cities in Europe, and two of them became my all time favorite. Well, Geneva is one of them! If I loved Zürich after seeing its beautiful architecture, with Geneva it was love at first sight. Here’s a photo of one of the islands on the Rhône river, near the city center. The island is named simply L’Île. In the middle you can see the 13th-century Tour de L’Île, which was once part of the medieval city fortifications.
