The architecture in Naples could be described in two words: crowded & colorful. Every building has numerous shades of red, yellow, blue, orange or green, and the buildings are all smashed together. What on a map looks like a large road, in real life is just a little alley just like this one. That is why, if you’re severely claustrophobic, Naples is not exactly your ideal destination. I can’t say I was a big fan of the little crowded streets, which are also not really clean, but there was a certain charm to their atmosphere.
