My favorite thing in Trafalgar Square is this funny looking blue rooster, right next to the National Gallery. This sculpture called „Hahn/Cock” was unveiled last summer. The plinth on which the rooster stands actually has an interesting story. Every few months or years it holds a different piece of contemporary art. The last time I was there, I found replica of Nelson’s ship in a large glass bottle stopped with a cork. The rooster is meant to symbolize male-dominated Britain, and will stay in Trafalgar Square until January 2015.
